| Stanstead’s commitment to getting the best out of its students starts in the classroom, where caring teachers provide students with the tools to engage in experiential learning, critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork. Small class sizes ensure that students receive the attention they need and deserve. Our rigorous academic program encourages a high level of achievement that contributes to an excellent acceptance rate at first-choice universities.
The commitment to academic excellence continues outside the classroom. Each student is assigned an advisor who keeps track of individual progress and takes corrective measures when necessary. The advisor also acts as the primary link between students and their parents.
To help students achieve their best academically, Stanstead College offers a variety of educational resources, including a mandatory evening study period and a Learning Resource Centre. In addition, our University Guidance team works closely with senior students to assist them in determining and achieving their post-secondary goals.
Add it all up and you have an academic program that helps students become aware, self-disciplined young men and women prepared for life after high school.
