So many ways to support
Stanstead College…
Red & White Fund
Our annual campaign is the
fundraising engine of Stanstead College. The fund supports scholarships and
bursaries for deserving students as well as initiatives to enhance programming
and student life. This year’s campaign goal is $300,000.
If you would like to
contribute towards any of these initiatives, financial aid or the greatest
needs, contact the Advancement Office. Donations to the Red & White Fund are tax
deductible and earn you membership in one of the following giving clubs:
Founder’s Club
$10,000+
Trustees’
Club $5,000 - $9,999
Headmaster’s Club $2,500 - $4,999
Tallman
Pitcher Club $1,000 - $2,499
Major S
Club $500 - $999
College

Sustaining Donors
With smaller monthly credit
card payments, you can support Stanstead College throughout the year. It’s a
convenient and thoughtful way to contribute to the Red & White Fund.
Gifts of Securities
Donations of publicly listed securities to
registered charities such as Stanstead College are tax deductible and exempt
from capital gains tax.
Buy a brick
Create a permanent record of
your or your child’s time here at Stanstead College by purchasing a brick in the
Tribute Wall on the main floor of Colby House. Each brick, etched to your
specifications, costs $275, of which $250 is tax deductible. All brick purchases
benefit the Red & White Fund.
Endowment
Major gifts to Stanstead College may qualify as endowments. These
sustainable gifts are invested, with the generated income being designated for
specific purposes. It is advisable to discuss related details with a
representative of Stanstead College if you wish to create or contribute to an
endowment.
Adopt a student
While establishing a lasting
endowment may be out of your range at this time, you can commit to an annual
tax-deductible donation for a fixed period of time to support a deserving
student, ideally for the length of his or her stay at the College. This is a way
for you to make a specific tangible difference in a young person’s life.
Planned Giving
Making a bequest to
Stanstead College or naming the school as a beneficiary of a life insurance
policy is a thoughtful and generous way to acknowledge the importance of the
school in your life and in the lives of future students. A decision to include
Stanstead College in your estate planning gains you membership in the Red &
White Society.
Spread the word
There is no promotion better
than positive word of mouth. If you are an alumnus, parent, past parent or
friend of the school, tell others about the Stanstead experience. Let them know
about upcoming Open Houses and scholarship competitions. Actively seek out
potential candidates for enrollment. Or simply stay in touch with the school.
Get involved
Whether it’s joining the
Council of Trustees, sitting on the Parents Committee or attending alumni
events, you can help the school by becoming involved in the many activities that
take place throughout the year.
