Welcome to the family!
 |
Stanstead College has four residences – junior boys, junior girls, senior boys and senior girls. What they share in common is that they are all safe, nurturing environments for growing and learning, with students from around the world living and working together.
At the same time, each residence has a character of its own – the rambunctious junior boys of Bugbee, the joie-de-vivre of the Colby junior girls, the sisterhood of the seniors in Webster and the hearty bonds of the senior boys in Davis.
Living in residence, Stanstead College students learn independence and responsibility. While each residence is overseen by house directors, teachers-on-duty and student prefects who make sure the environment is one of respect and cooperation, students must create and manage their own relationships. The result is that they become stronger, more socially adept young men and women. And without a doubt, the friendships that grow at Stanstead last a lifetime.
Did you know…?
To promote cultural diversity and understanding, initial room assignments ensure that roommates share different nationalities. In addition, assigned lunchtime seating encourages students to talk and spend time with students from other countries.
