 Stanstead Scholarships
All boys and girls entering Grades 7 through 11
may compete for scholarships, renewable annually.
Full Scholarship
One full entrance scholarship is available for a student entering Grade 10 (Secondary IV). The scholarship is awarded on the basis of the scholarship
examination and is renewable for Grades 11 and 12 as long as the student maintains an 80% average with no grade below 65% and remains active within the Stanstead College community.
Partial Scholarships
A number of entrance scholarships are available each year to new students, awarded on the basis of the scholarship examination, up to a maximum of 50% of tuition fees. These are renewable according to the same criteria as the full scholarship.
Scholarship Examination
The examination includes testing in English, French and Mathematics. Additional financial assistance is available to all
students, Grades 7 through 12, based on academic merit and financial need.
For the 2007-2008 academic year, 35% of the student body received scholarship funding and/or financial aid. The total amount awarded was $800,000.
