Stanstead College debaters had a very strong showing at the annual Marianopolis College high school debating tournament Sunday, October 22. Out of 44 participants, Helen White placed seventh, while the team of Lindsay Smith and Necolla Guerrina (pictured) placed third out of the 22 teams. Congratulations!

This terrific performance was followed November 5 by a standout showing at St. Sebastian's Debate Tournament in Boston. Helen White was named top speaker, while Lindsay Smith placed fourth. Overall, the team of White and Smith were the top speakers of the tournament.
