Mona Lisa smiles

The latest wall-sized artwork in the student centre was unveiled at a special assembly Thursday morning, May 3. Like the other works in the centre, the reproduction of Da Vinci's "La Giaconda" was produced on separate panels by separate artists, in this case by Grade 10 artists Yuka Morimoto, Akiko Tanaka, Eun Mi Kim and Christina Nash. The unveiling was preceded by a brief presentation from Mr. Williams on the importance, impact and the durability of "The Mona Lisa."
