Stanstead College releases new five-year Strategic Plan
 As Chairman of the Stanstead College Board of Directors, I am pleased to share with you the school’s Strategic Plan for 2006-2011.
You will not see a wish list in this Strategic Plan. Instead, the plan reinforces our values as an institution, with a focus on strong programming and sound management in order to fully prepare our students for life after high school.
This dedication to the overall needs of our students is reflected in our revised mission statement, with its emphasis on diversity, quality atmosphere and healthy minds and bodies:
Our mission is to provide students from Canada and around the world with a highly structured and supportive educational program in a small, secure environment. The Stanstead experience helps all students reach their full academic potential in preparation for university, develop healthy and active lifestyles, and understand the importance of respect, responsibility and self-discipline.
As you will read in the document, the plan was approved by the school’s Board of Directors in September after months of discussion and preparation. I would like to thank all those involved in this process for giving their time to work on this important document.
