Terry Fox Run 2007
On Thursday, September 20, the students and faculty once again participated in the Terry Fox Run to raise money for cancer research. Students learned about Fox's inspiring life at morning assembly and gathered in the afternoon for an all-school photo before heading off on the run -- three laps around the campus. Students donated cash for the cause at Friday's morning's free-dress assembly, where Headmaster Wolfe pointed out that the amount the school raised was about the equivalent to the $400 that Terry Fox started out with when he began his Marathon of Hope in 1980. To date, more than $400 million has been raised in his name.
