Selwin House Invitational

On Wednesday, May 2nd 2007 Michael Vassilakis(far left), Paul Emile Baetsen(left), Nils Timmermann(Right), Jerome Castan (far right) traveled to Nun's Island in Montreal to play some difficult matches amongst some of the best of the region.Nils and Jerome were up first as first and second singles to play, and Paul and Michael would soon play their own matches. Although organization was lacking at the beginning they soon caught up and we were playing a huge tournament. The Ending scores of the Stanstead players were not exactly stellar but they played their best against their opponents here. Northwood won the tournament with all games won, except for one. The Stanstead players really enjoyed themselves and were really tired after a day of hard played tennis. But the players now must look forward to a match in BCS on Saturday...
