A Little Information About the Coach

He Enjoys Raquet Sports, everything from squash to badminton to table tennis to tennis.

1. My Two Wonderful children are Currently attending Stanstead. Annik is in tennis and Francis in rugby at present
2. I Like lasagna (“kinda” like Garfield)
3. I've Brought in a new kind of speach at sports assembly, The sports poem. He has been doing it for about seven years now for both Tennis and Squash.
4. I like Teaching Art, Laughing, and working with young people.
5. I've been Married for 17 years and met his wife 28 years ago.
6. I've been teaching at Stanstead College for 15 years now.

A word from the Editor:

Mr. Williams has always been a coach that is different from every other coach, but in a positive way. I've personally had him as a tennis coach for two years now and he always treats his Tennis students with fairness and respect. I've always enjoyed his great responsibility for posting schedules and announcing tournaments early with advance and interest. He’s a different coach in the way that he actually cares for the students weaknesses and actually helps to correct it even if it means to go out of his way to get a clinic or something to the effect. He is always looking to improve the team, even if the season is only 5 weeks long. I find it interesting how he even cares to get a clinic for the lower players when there is a tournament for the higher players at another school, usually from typical coaches, its the "you have the day off" type of thing. We all look forward to finishing the season strong, and i'm sure Mr. Williams is looking for the same from us. This year is an especially good year, the whole boy’s team is 1st in all the Eastern townships and they all remain 1st in their own tiers. I’d like to thank Mr. Williams for the great seasons, and I hope to finish this one strongly.
