Halo Road Race, Montreal

The Stanstead Spartans left their mark at the 25^th Annual Greater Montreal Athletic Association (all Montreal private and public schools) Halo Road Race held on Mont Royal on Thursday, May 4, 2006. Although this was Stanstead’s first time competing at this event they will not soon be forgotten in light of the following impressive results:

Midget Boys (4 km) – Gabriel Ellison Scowcraft – 6th place

Senior Boys (5 km) – Danny Hobbs – 1^st, Martin Ausserhofer – 5^th, Barry Roytman – 7^th, Brian Nadeau – 15^th, Devon Kwon – 28^th

Senior Girls (5km) – Annick Williams, Lisa Linden

Each one of these categories had over 100 participants and our racers are to be congratulated on a wonderful performance by all.
