I started working for Stanstead College ’s Language Adventure in 2002.  I was immediately impressed with the quality of the second language program and with the dedication of the staff. 

Throughout the years, I have played many roles at the summer school.  With the outdoor program I have had countless memorable experiences such as: camping, visiting cultural places in Quebec and in Ontario, participating in talent shows, hiking, theme days (Olympic Day, Casino Night, Outdoor Cooking, etc.), going to amusement parks (Bromont Water slides, LaRonde), and meeting students and staff from around the globe.

Our indoor program is fun yet challenging.  Every year at the end of summer school, I delight in witnessing the progress the students have made in acquiring or furthering their second language.  Not only do I notice an improvement in their language development, but also in their level of confidence in their journey towards bilingualism. 

Seven years later, I am excited to be the director of such a unique and outstanding language program.  The idea of learning a second language while having so much fun with friends is ingenious. 

I look forward to seeing the returning students and I invite new ones to come join us on this amazing and unique adventure in learning a second language!
