Dusan Sidor Philosophy
"My philosophy revolves around the development of the most modern style of goaltending. Specific off-ice training for goaltenders is as important as on-ice training, and video analysis is the key to perfecting technique. Goaltending should come naturally. There is no time to think during a game, therefore technique has to become muscle memory and second nature.
This can be only achieved through specific goaltending training routines. No matter the age of the goalies or their level of experience, they never stop learning as the game is constantly evolving. Most importantly, the statement 'BE DIFFERENT FROM THE REST' is the foundation of my philosophy. Grabbing the spectators’ or a scout's attention is not only done by simply stopping the puck but by showing athletic, aggressive, progressive, and workman-like goaltending." - Duson Sidor Sr.
