Athlete of the Week: Caleb Goudreau

As team captain, he brings experience and elite skill to bear every time he steps on the field, and he gives everything he has on offense AND on defense. As a midfielder (the most physically demanding position) on a sorely undermanned team (only 13 players), the Grade 11 student from Stanstead is offensively creative and defensively relentless. In the last two ETIAC games, he scored 7 of his team’s 18 goals, but when matched up against superior competition (i.e. the Crestwood Invitational in Peterborough, Ont.) his commitment to defense was the main reason the final scores remained respectable. A graceful, complete player and a leader on and off the field, congratulations to Caleb for being chosen Athlete of the Week!
