Athlete of the Week: Julia McLellan

But even with so much of the season still to come, last weekend’s 7-5 win against Belle Tire at the 2 Nations Cup in Brampton, Ontario may well prove to be the highlight of Julia’s year. Not only does Belle Tire have a #4 national ranking amongst USA U-19 Teams, but this Grade 12 student from Grosse Pointe Woods, MI was cut from this program not once, not twice, but on three separate occasions in her minor hockey career. The epitome of “sticking with it,” it gives us great pleasure to award Julia McLellan with this week’s Athlete of the Week!
