Giving Back to the Community

On Thursday, our students and teachers spread out into Stanstead and beyond for our annual Community Service Afternoon. It's our way of saying thank you to our neighbours for welcoming us into their community year after year.

In Stanstead, students raked and tidied up town spaces and trails, worked on the College gardens, cleared branches and leaves at the Colby-Curtis Museum (over 60 bags at the museum alone!), did yard work at seniors' homes and for individuals. They played with Sunnyside Elementary students after school and collected trash at the entrance of town.

Others tidied up in nearby Ayer's Cliff and in Vermont at the Coutts-Moriarty Camp. They walked dogs and cuddled cats a the animal shelter and picked up garbage along the bike trail in Ogden. And more!

It was a full afternoon, and we were happy to do it. Thank you, Ms. Carmen Campbell, for once again organizing. You can see some highlights below.
