  • Are lounges and TOD offices be open?

Common spaces are now open (designated by grade) on weekends with physical distancing practices. TOD offices are available to only one student at a time. Students can also visit other rooms on weekends provided they are fully masked.

  • Are students able to take town leave?

Students have been asked to remain exclusively on campus initially. We will assess circumstances and relax this requirement as the term progresses should this be warranted.
  • Is my child permitted to visit other residences on campus?

For the time being, students are only able to enter the residence to which they are assigned.
  • When are school breaks?

Stanstead College has amended the usual fall schedule to ensure the safest possible environment for students and teachers. To this end, school will be in session from September 7 to December 4 inclusive with 3-day breaks October 9-12 and November 13-16. Residences will remain open over the weekend breaks and boarding students will be asked to remain on campus. Following the winter break, classes resume online January 7, with students who travelled outside Canada quarantining on campus and domestic students remaining at home. In-person classes will begin January 21.
  • Will my child be able to take weekend leaves?

Unfortunately, no. There will not be any leaves home off campus until the December break to ensure the safety of the entire school community.
