The Stanstead College Annual Fund is a vital source of support that directly enhances the student experience. Through the generosity of alumni, parents, and friends, the Annual Fund helps provide scholarships and bursaries, enrich academic and extracurricular programs, and maintain our beautiful campus. Every gift—no matter the size—makes a meaningful difference and helps ensure that Stanstead continues to thrive today and for generations to come.
Special Information for US Donors
Stanstead College works in partnership with Friends of Independent Schools and Better Education (FRISBE) so our US donors can receive charitable gift receipts for their generosity. FRISBE is a non-profit corporation with IRC Section 501(c)(3) status that promotes and encourages educational institutions. You can make a donation in a variety of ways. Here's how to

  • Support our Endowment

    Major gifts to Stanstead College may qualify as endowments. These sustainable gifts are invested, with the generated income being designated for specific purposes such as many of our named scholarships. It is advisable to discuss related details with a representative of Stanstead College if you wish to create or contribute to an endowment. Please email advancement@stansteadcollege.com for more information.

    DONATE TO AN EXISTING NAMED SCHOLARSHIP
  • Gifts of Securities

    Donations of publicly listed securities to registered charities such as Stanstead College are tax deductible and exempt from capital gains tax. Please contact the Advancement Office for more information .  If you are already familiar with the process, you may download a securities transfer form here.
  • Gifts in Kind

    We accept non-cash donations under specific circumstances. Please contact the Advancement Office for more information.
     
  • Tribute Giving

    A Tribute Gift is a unique way to mark a special occasion or to honour or remember a person who has touched your life in some way.   Tribute Gifts include celebrating an accomplishment, recognizing an exceptional teacher or staff member, honouring a special occasion or remembering a loved one.
     
  • Planned Giving

    Making a bequest to Stanstead College or naming the school as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy is a thoughtful and generous way to acknowledge the importance of the school in your life and in the lives of future students.  Please contact advancement@stansteadcollege.com for more information.
  • Spread the Word

    Spread the word
    If you are an alumnus, parent, past parent or friend of the school, tell others about Stanstead College. Let them know about upcoming school visits and scholarship competitions. Actively seek out potential candidates for enrollment. You can even host a College event in your home by contacting our Admissions Department at admissions@stansteadcollege.com.
     
  • Volunteer

    Stanstead College is always looking for volunteers to get involved and who understand the school.  There are a number of volunteer opportunities available in our community including;
    • Becoming a  Class Rep/Class Agent
    • Planning an alumni reunion
    • Helping with school events
    • Organizing a fundraiser
    • Becoming a trustee (see our governance page)
    • Speaking at a Career Fair
    Your involvement is a wonderful opportunity to work with staff and faculty and share in an experience that is near and dear to our hearts,  Stanstead College.
