University Guidance
Ready for Life
The University Guidance team helps students discover what post-secondary options are available to them, narrows those options down to a clear post-secondary goal and guides the students through the process of achieving that goal.
Whether it’s helping students prepare for ACTs or SATs, taking part in university fairs or compiling applications, the University Guidance team is there to help students make good choices. And that’s why Stanstead College students are accepted at top universities throughout North America and around the world.
Our 2026 Graduates
During the 2025-2026 academic year, there were 64 students in Grade 12.
Our graduates received offers from 36 Canadian post-secondary institutions, 46 American, and 3 international schools across 8 provinces, 14 states, and 4 countries.
This year’s most popular majors included 33% of graduates choosing fields in science and engineering, including health and life sciences, kinesiology, global health and applied science and engineering. Another 18% will be studying business, finance and entrepreneurship, while 30 % of the class will focus on social sciences and humanities, including education, psychology, sustainable development, political science, communication and fine arts.
We are confident that the Class of 2026 is well on the way to working on solutions for a more balanced, just, healthy and happy society. They will be at the forefront of a workforce that will be limited only by their creativity. Whether they are designing the algorithm, building and healthy sustainable population or leading the nations of the future, these students are well prepared for the challenges that lie ahead.
- 21% of the graduating class accepted offers from the United States
- 23% of the graduating class accepted offers from universities in Quebec
- 23% of the graduating class accepted offers from universities in Ontario
- 3 students accepted offers from British Columbia
- 2 students accepted offers from universities in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick,
- 1 student accepted an offer from a university in Scotland
- 2 students will pursue international studies in Mexico and Japan
- 14 students will defer their offers or take part-time studies to pursue athletic opportunities.
To date, the scholarship dollars offered to the class of 2026 is approximately $6 million.
