Athletic Therapist / Physiotherapist (part-time)
Stanstead College is looking for certified athletic therapists or physiotherapists with a valid Sport First responders' certification, to join our medical coverage team. This is a part-time position, following our athletic calendar.
Benefits include: meals and room provided, salary paid the day of, medical supplies included and an on site medical team available.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide on site coverage
- Spot and assess injuries
- Make return-to-play decisions
- Refer to our medical team for more serious injuries, that would require follow-ups
- Communicate information to the coaching staff & parents as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in athletic therapy or physiotherapy
- Valid CPR and AED certification
- Sports first responder certification (up to date)
- Concussion certification (an asset)
- Bilingual French-English
- Excellent judgement, reliability, punctuality, integrity
