    Don Anderson '73: Small Goalies and Collapsing Roofs

    If you look at the current roster of our varsity boys hockey team, you will be amazed to see the provenance of our players as well as their resumé. Most of them have been playing since they can remember, and most have been recruited for their talents.

    There was a time, however, when things were fairly different in the Stanstead College hockey world. Winning was an occasional feat, and it wouldn’t be difficult to find boys on the ice who had never played hockey or had learned to play the sport only a couple of years earlier.

  • Former Spartan Picked by Calgary Flames

    Former Spartan Cole Huckins (2017-2019) was drafted into the NHL Saturday by the Calgary Flames, the second Stanstead player to be picked by Flames within the past ten year.

    Following with our 150th celebrations of Stanstead College we want to start 2023 with the right ski by inviting you to join us to our first Family Ski Day of the year.
    We would love to see you and your families going down the slopes, enjoying a beutiful day with the rest of the SC families.
    Your ticket includes: Lift ticket, mid day snack & coffee as well as an apres-ski at the lodge from 17:00 to 19:00

  • Donate to the Stanstead College Annual Fund

    The annual campaign is the fundraising engine of Stanstead College. The fund supports scholarships and bursaries for deserving students as well as initiatives to enhance programming and student life – everything from funding a humanitarian service trip to purchasing new instruments for our Music program. Donations to the Annual Fund are tax deductible. (U.S. residents, click here for special donation instructions.)

    Sustaining donors
    Monthly credit card payments allow you to support Stanstead College throughout the year. It’s a convenient and thoughtful way to contribute to the annual fund. Please contact kcushing@stansteadcollege.com for more information.

    Stanstead College publishes its alumni magazine, The Red & White, two times a year. One of the most popular features of the magazine is our alumni notes section.   • Support Endowment

    Major gifts to Stanstead College may qualify as endowments. These sustainable gifts are invested, with the generated income being designated for specific purposes. It is advisable to discuss related details with a representative of Stanstead College if you wish to create or contribute to an endowment.   • Planned Giving

    Making a bequest to Stanstead College or naming the school as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy is a thoughtful and generous way to acknowledge the importance of the school in your life and in the lives of future students.     If you are an alumnus, parent, past parent or friend of the school, tell others about Stanstead College. Let them know about upcoming school visits and scholarship competitions. Actively seek out potential candidates for enrollment. You can even host a College event in your home by contacting our Admissions Department at admissions@stansteadcollege.com.

    Create a permanent record of your or your child’s time here at Stanstead College by purchasing a brick in the Tribute Wall on the main floor of Colby House. Each brick, etched to your specifications, costs $500 fully tax deductible. All brick purchases benefit the Annual Fund. You can buy your brick online or download this form.
