Varsity Girls Hockey Spartan Maélie Laforge (Grade 12, Val-d’Or, Quebec) is one of the recipients of this year’s Montreal Canadiens Scholarship, presented this past Monday by the Aléo Foundation. The scholarships, totalling $75,000, are presented to elite, college and university hockey players who have distinguished themselves over the past year.

Five Girls Hockey Spartans will represent their country at upcoming IIHF U18 Women’s World Championships.
