Hockey Development Camps

Hockey has been a tradition at Stanstead College since its founding, and today our elite student-athletes move on to top DI colleges, Canadian universities and junior programs. Our summer hockey programs allow us to share that expertise with campers at all levels. Continue reading below to find out more about our hockey camp opportunities for the summer of 2022!

  • High-Performance Training Camp

    For girls & boys (U16 & U18 – AA, prep, Collegiate)

    A comprehensive, integrated on- and off-ice development program built to help each athlete reach their next level of performance. 
    • July 6-9, 2023
    • Three-day intensive overnight training camp for elite players
    • Boarding $565 / Day $540*

    • July 16-21 and August 6-11
    • Five-day intensive overnight training camp

  • Co-Ed Skills Day Camp

    Camp 1: July 31-August 4, 2023 (SOLD OUT)
    Camp 2: August 14-18, 2023 (SOLD OUT)
    • Five-day camp for boys and girls ages 7 to 14 – all levels (some hockey experience required)
    • Focus on skills, skating technique and improving game play
    • Camp consists of two daily on-ice sessions at the Pat Burns Arena, one off-ice session per day and one activity per day
    • $375.00* (includes welcome package, daily lunch, and optional early drop-off/late pick-up)

  • BERNIE PIMM

    With over 25 years of coaching experience, Bernie has spent the last seven years coaching young women. After spending three years in Ottawa, where he turned the PWHL Ottawa Lady Sens into a perennial play-off team, Coach Pimm has spent the last four years at Stanstead College.

    Adam is a 5th year physical and health education student and hockey player at McGill University who has distinguished himself with many academic and leadership awards.

  • NICOLAS GUAY

    Captain of both Drummondville and Saint John in the QMJHL, Nicolas boasts an impressive junior resumé of over 100 goals in the league and 240 career points in 260 games.

  • ARIANE JULIEN

    As a former Spartan, Ariane helped her team win the NAPHA championship three years in a row, and she captained the team during her senior year. After Stanstead, she became a Friar and attended NCAA D1 Providence College from 2017 to 2021. In her first three seasons, she played in all 37 of Friars games.

  • EMILIE FORTUNATO

    Emilie was an assistant captain in all three seasons as a Stanstead College Spartan coached by Bernie Pimm. During the 2019-2020 season, Fortunato helped the team to a NAPHA League Championship.

Our Facilities

Located on Stanstead College's campus, the Pat Burns Arena was built in 2011 and named after one of the hockey world’s most influential coaches. Amenities include:
  • 6 spacious locker rooms
  • Restaurant
  • 360-person capacity seating area plus a “standing area” that can accommodate over 100 spectators
  • A large heated viewing balcony with direct access to the restaurant area
  • Jankowski Family Hockey Training Centre with artificial ice
  • Gym and physiotherapy rooms
  • Pro shop
  • 2 reception rooms

Coaching Staff

Our camps are run by top coaches with lifetimes of experience. Our Elite Girls Hockey Camp is overseen by NCAA and Canadian university coaches and players.
