School Break Trips

During short school breaks, Stanstead College organizes chaperoned trips for students who are not returning home or for those who are looking for a different experience. Each trip offers a full itinerary of supervised group activities as well as accommodation and meals. Break trips are safe, reasonably priced and, above all, popular! Typical break trips include:
  • October: Niagara Falls/Toronto - activities include the CN Tower, Ripley’s Aquarium, Little Canada, boat tour of Niagara Falls
  • November: New York City - activities include Metropolitan Museum of Art, One World Observatory, boat cruise to the Statue of Liberty, Broadway show
  • February: Jay Peak Resort, Vermont - activities include day passes to the water park, day trip to Burlington, Vermont for sightseeing and dogsledding.
  • May: Disney World, Florida - includes day pass to Universal Studios Orlando and a 4-day Park Hopper pass (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and MGM Studios).

Home stays may also be arranged for students over the long weekend breaks. Home stays are typically with faculty or local families connected to and vetted by the school.
