There are less than two months left in the year, and I still find myself complaining about small things-whether it's the food not being great, not wanting to go to clubs, or not feeling like doing my Econ homework.
The other day, I was talking with my dad, and he asked me, "What do you want to do with your life after Stanstead?"
I didn't know what to say. I told him, "Give me more time."
That conversation made me think about how often we take things for granted.
We don't always realize the effort our parents put in just so we can be here. The sacrifices they make, the support they give us, it's easy to overlook when we're caught up in our own stress or routine.
All the success I've had, I owe to my parents. Without them, none of it would've been possible. And I think a lot of us can say the same.
We're lucky to have the opportunities we do, but sometimes we forget to take advantage of them. We wait. We overthink. We let fear, doubt, or other people's opinions hold us back.
So if there's something you want to do, go for it. Take the risk. You don't need to have everything figured out-none of us do. But don't let that stop you from trying.
You never know what could happen if you just take the first step.
