Academic Assembly Recognizes Top Achievers
Monday evening, January 13, Stanstead College held its first academic assembly of the year, with guest speaker Kayla Clarke, Class of 2015. Ms. Clarke spoke about her academic journey after Stanstead and how she found an intersection for two seemingly unrelated passions. You can hear her full speech below.
In addition to presenting pins and certificates to academic achievers in the first term, the students with the top averages by grade were recognized. These were: Laurel Dudley (Gr. 7), Benajmin Magnan (Gr. 8), Erika Ueno (Gr. 9), Kimmie Xu (Gr. 10), Mathieu Rémillard (Gr. 11) and Luke DeLaBruere (Gr. 12).
On Tuesday, we presented the Black Sweater to the Major S athletic award winner with the top average. This too went to Luke DeLaBruere.
