Stanstead College students once again excelled in their Advanced Placement exams, with three students earning AP Capstone Diplomas and two receiving the AP International Diploma.
The AP Capstone Diploma is granted to students who earn scores of 3 or higher in AP Seminar and AP Research and on four additional AP exams of their choosing. This was earned by graduating Grade 12 students Luke DeLaBruere, Annie LaMantia and Sofia Martinez Ajzenman.
AP International Diplomas are granted to students who display exceptional achievement across a variety of disciplines including languages, social sciences and math, science or computer sciences. This was earned by Grade 12s Sofia Martinez Ajzenman and Sofia Guzman.
AP Scholar with Distinction certificates wentto students who received an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. The recipients were Andrew Dahms, Luke DeLaBruere, Sofia Guzman, Annie LaMantia, Sofia Martinez Ajzenman, Edythe McKenzie and Jeremey Robert.
AP Scholar with Honors certificates (to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams) went to Petr Polacek and Johnny Zhang.
Several other students were named AP Scholars (scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams): Laurie A. (Gr. 11), Ryder Busto, Maddyn L. (Gr. 11), Pénélope L. (Gr. 11), Gabriella Leroux, Valerie Lin, Tammy O. (Gr. 11), Mathieu R. (Gr. 11), Alina Szemioth, Rosalie T. (Gr. 11), Madik T. (Gr. 11), Yuhe Wang, Deanna Wright and Eric Zhang.
